The intelligent vacuum gripper generates enough force to safely and quickly handle the lifting and movement. The vacuum flow is generated by a side channel blower, delivering a high volumetric airflow combined with a low pressure differential.

Unigripper develops advanced foam gripper solutions engineered with a unique patented valve technology that selectively applies vacuum only to the products being handled.

LAYERGRIPPERS Ed.01 | Vacuum Plate Technology

The Layergripper Ed.01 is equipped with : an advanced Vacuum Head Technology for efficient handling.

The vacuum is generated by an electric vacuum pump. The gripper consists of a valve plate located beneath a vacuum chamber and positioned above a foam layer. The foam pad contains multiple suction holes, and each hole is connected to a corresponding valve in the valve plate. The valve contains a small ball that moves up and down, acting as a valve.

This system works automatically : when there is no product underneath, the ball moves and seals the hole, preventing any loss of vacuum. When a product is present, the ball moves to allow suction. No adjustments are needed when the layer size or layout changes, which helps save energy. The gripping force stays the same, whether you are handling a single item or a full layer.

The Layergripper Ed.02 is a combination of :
-Mechanical Clamping bars
-Vacuum Head Technology.

The Mechanical Clamping Bars are used to mechanically secure and stabilize the load during lifting and transportation.

While the vacuum head provides the primary lifting force, the clamping bars apply lateral pressure to the sides of the layer, preventing products from shifting, separating, or tipping during high-speed movements. They are particularly beneficial when handling unstable loads, products with limited vacuum contact surfaces, or layers containing gaps between items.

LayerGripper Ed. 4 is a perfect combination of :

-Vacuum Head Technology
-Mechanical Clamping Bars with adjustable height
-and Side Skirts

The Side Skirts are lateral sealing skirts installed around the gripping area. They create a semi-enclosed volume around the layer being handled, which improves vacuum efficiency when products have large gaps between them or surfaces that are difficult to seal. LayerGripper Edition 4 also incorporates a high-flow vacuum valves to further enhance the effectiveness of the Side Skirts whenever additional airflow is required.
